Consumer Rights (EU)
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, consumers residing in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving their order, without providing any reason, for non-perishable items (e.g., accessories, merchandise).
To exercise this right, contact us at care@marouchocolate.com within the 14-day period. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Refunds will be issued within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned goods, to the original payment method.
Exception: As per Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable goods, including all chocolate products.
Legal Conformity Guarantee
In accordance with EU Directive 2019/771 and Articles L217-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, all non-perishable products sold by MAROU FRANCE benefit from a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from the date of delivery. If a product does not conform to its description or is defective, customers may request repair, replacement, or — where neither is possible — a full refund.
